weekend recap

this weekend b and i headed north to berkley to explore a little bit of the city and attend the golden gate field horse races.

felt like i was in carb heaven stepping in acme bread company. we picked up a baguette and a loaf of cholla for saturday and sunday’s dinner. i have only ever eaten cholla when made by my sister and was excited to see they offered the authentic jewish bread.

browsed through mignonne’s vintage revivals. they have quite the collection. now if only we had more space in our apartment…

photo 2-10the park we went to had the most charming homes across the street. it made me fall more in love with palo alto.

      Thanks for stopping by, Lara! To be honest it was quite difficult to only buy two loaves of bread. I could have stayed there and sampled everything. Carbs are a definite weakness for me!
